I ( Santoshkumar B Pandey) have observed that a majority in Bharat (Hindustan) don’t have a clear picture of what actually RSS is and what they do. For them, the Sangh is an organization they have heard about from TV news, newspapers and heated discussions. As a insider l am  and a spectator closely following its activities, I assume that I can give , and what the advantages  of being an RSS member are. For representational purposes only: - The Sangh is the single largest volunteer organization in the world with over 80 lakhs volunteers (called ‘swayamsevaks’). Attending the Sangh’s ‘Shakha’ is joyful in many ways, they teach you some very useful life skills. You may offer your alms and worldly services to the society in several ways depending upon what is needed to allay the sufferings and pains of others to some extent, or to uplift the conditions of the deprived ones around you. But one service, which is universally required and which is regarded as the supreme donation , is – the gyana yagya , dissemination of knowledge. 🍃 👍🏼हमारे डॉक्टरजी एक स्वप्न    डाक्टर हेडगेवार रात-दिन संघ का काम करने लगे।  सुबह-शाम, दिन में और रात में घर और बाहर, वे एकमात्र संघ का ही विचार करते थे। वे कभी स्वप्न देखते थे तो वह भी संघ के सम्बन्ध में ही होता था।    एक बार नागपुर की एक शाखा में स्वयंसेवकों के कुछ विवाद हुआ। परिणाम यह हुआ कि उनके छोटे-छोटे दो दल बन गये। एक दलने शाखा में आना बन्द कर दिया। दूसरा दल समझने लगा कि अपनी विजय हुई।  यह सब वृत्त सुनकर डाक्टरजी को बहुत दुख हुआ। वे दोनों दलों के प्रत्येक व्यक्ति से मिले। प्रत्येक को उन्होंने समझाया। प्रत्येक का मनोमालिन्य उन्होंने दूर किया। वे सब पूर्ववत् शाखा में आने लगे।  वह शाखा सुचारू रूप से चलने लगे।    इस घटना के पश्चात नागपुर के सब स्वयंसेवकों को एकत्रित कर डाक्टरजी ने उन्हें कहा, “प्रिय स्वयंसेवक बंधुओं !  इतिहास से सबक सीखना ही बुद्धिमानी का लक्षण है। छोटे से अहंकार को पालना, पोसना, बढाना,  व्यक्तिगत आकांक्षा रखना, अपने छोटे-छोटे गट बनाकर दलबन्दी करना,  जरासी बात पर आपस में लडना, इसी से हमारे...

Last week, on February 2nd, 2014 Khushwant Singhji completed ninety nine years of his very active life. That day, I called on him at his Sujan Singh Park residence and presented to him the second compilation of my blogs, released by Sar Sangh Chalak Shri Mohan Rao Bhagwat with the title "My Take". Nitin Ranchandra Phule, a 48-year-old swayamsevak, is the 4th generation descendant of Mahatma Phule's elder brother Rajaram. When over 1.5 lakh volunteers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) gathered in Marunji village, on the outskirts of Pune city, on January 3, history was in the making, since fourth and fifth generation descendants from Mahatma Phule's family were also part of the RSS' western Maharashtra unit meet. Phule family has been staying in the Old Ganj Peth area in eastern Pune since Mahatma Phule's period. प्रचारक : समाज की संघ को देन श्री शिवराय तेलंग महाराष्ट्र प्रान्त के ज्येष्ठ प्रचारक हैं। 1942 में बड़ी संख्या में संघ प्रचारक निकले, 1943 में शिवराय जी प्रचारक बने। प.पू.श्रीगुरुजी के निकट सहवास का सौभाग्य उन्हें प्राप्त हुआ है। 1948 के संघ बंदी के कालखंड के बाद जिन कार्यकर्ताओं के भरोसे तथा कठोर परिश्रम के आधार पर प.पू. श्री गुरुजी ने  संघ को पुनर्जन्म दिया, उनमें बाबाराव भिड़े, वसंतराव भिड़े,गोपाल राव देशपांडे, नाना पालकर,केशवराव केलकर, भैयाराव गौतम,दामुअण्णा दाते, प्रल्हादजी अभ्यंकर,नाना ढोलके तथा शिवराय तेलंग प्रमुख थे। यहां प्रस्तुत है एक आजीवन प्रचारक का "प्रचारक' संज्ञा के बारे में विवेचन-अतिरिक्त उपयोग से शब्द अपना  वास्तविक अर्थ खो बैठते हैं। जैसे आज सामाजिक क्रांति, दलित उद्धार,समर्पित जीवन, समाज के सबसे आखिरी  व्यक्ति पर नि:स्वार्थ प्रेम आदि शब्द अपना स्वाभाविक अर्थ खो बैठे हैं, केवल भाषा के अलंकार बन चुके हैं। उसी तरह डा. हेडगेवार के समय त्याग, बलिदान,देशभक्ति आदि शब्दों का अवमूल्यन हो गया था।     अर्थ Options हीन शब्दों को पुन:प्राणवान्, जाग्...

एक अनोखे रिश्ते की खोज #पूज्य_माधव_राव_सदाशिव_गोलवलकर_जी #दत्तोपंत_ठेंगडी_जी #बाबू_जगजीवन_राम_जी नागपुर संघचालक मा॰ बाबासाहेब घटाटे डॉ॰ मुंजेजी के कट्टर भक्त थे । बहुत दिनों से उनकी इच्छा थी कि कम से कम कुछ शहरों में #डॉ_मुंजे की प्रतिमा स्थापित हो। उन्होने आगे चलकर  डॉ॰ मुंजे स्मारक समिती की स्थापना की और #श्री_गुरुजी के सामने जिद पर अड़ गये के वे समिति की अध्यक्षता स्वीकार करें । ऐसे किसी समिति की अध्यक्षता स्वीकार करना श्री.गुरुजी के न तो स्वभाव मे था न ही उनकी योजना के अनुसार था ।परन्तु श्री बाबासाहेब इतना जिद पर अड़ गये कि आख़िर न चाहते हुए भी श्री.गुरुजी को उनकी जिद माननी पड़ी । इसके पीछे केवल यही कारण था कि श्री बाबासाहेब के #प_पूज्य_डॉ_हेडगेवार_जी से बहुत अच्छे सम्बन्ध और उनके द्वारा डॉ साहब कि आख़री समय मे की गई सेवा । इसके कुछ समय  पश्चात जब श्री.गुरुजी दिल्ली आये उनकी #जनसंघ के कुछ एम पी के साथ झंडेवालान मे चायपान का कार्यक्रम था ।उनसे बातचीत करते हुए श्री.गुरुजी ने उन्हे समिति की जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि वे #श्री_जगजीवनराम_जी से मिलें व उन्हे  समिति की पू...

मानव रत्न हरमोहन लाल जी / पुण्य तिथि - 5 अप्रैल राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ, विद्या भारती तथा फिर विश्व हिन्दू परिषद के काम में सक्रिय रहने वाले श्री हरमोहन लाल जी का हीरे, जवाहरात और रत्नों का पुश्तैनी कारोबार था। भारत में आगरा, जयपुर, मुंबई आदि के साथ ही अमरीका और अफ्रीका में भी उनकी दुकानें थीं। पत्थरों को परखते हुए वे लोगों को परखना भी जान गये और अनेक मानव रत्नों को संगठन में जोड़ा। श्री हरमोहन लाल जी के पूर्वज वर्तमान पाकिस्तान में मुल्तान नगर के निवासी थे। इनमें से एक श्री गुरदयाल सिंह शिमला में बस गये। इसके बाद उनके कुछ वंशज जयपुर आ गये। वहां ‘राजामल्ल का तालाब’ उनके पुरखों द्वारा निर्मित है। इस परिवार के एक बालक गणेशीलाल को आगरा में गोद लिया गया। 1917 में जन्मे हरमोहन लाल जी गणेशीलाल जी के ही पौत्र थे। हरमोहन लाल जी के प्रपितामह ने आगरा में ‘गणेशीलाल एंड सन्स’ के नाम से 1845 में हीरे-जवाहरात की दुकान खोली। हरमोहन लाल जी के पिता श्री ब्रजमोहन लाल जी की इस क्षेत्र में बड़ी प्रतिष्ठा थी। देश के बड़े-बड़े राजे, रजवाड़े, साहूकार और जमींदार आदि उनके ग्राहक थे। वे उन्हें अपने महल...

RSS - Shakha , Varshikotsava & Sangh festivals (Utsav's) The daily Shakha of RSS is undoubtedly the most visible symbol and soul of the organisation. Its a daily assembling of boys and men for an hour under Bhagawa Dhwaj and doing Yoga playing games, singing songs, shlokas and Prarthana. Along with daily Shaka Org has started Weekly Milan's and Monthly Mandali's to invigorate various activities. In addition to daily Shakas festivals (utsavs) are held through out the year at various levels and these festivals provide an opportunity to know about about our Culture and traditions and they also help Swayamsevaks in building their ability to work together for a common cause. All 16 were members of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and many of them mentored the young Modi in his time as a pracharak, or activist, in Ahmedabad in the mid- and late 1970s.  The longest biography is of the RSS’s second sarsanghchalak, or paramount leader, MS Golwalkar, who expanded the organisation after he was given charge by its founder KB Hedgewar.
